LOCAL SEO SERVICES
Help the right local customers discover your business.
Local SEO connects the information customers find about your business across Google Search, Maps and your website. The aim is to make your services easier to discover, understand and enquire about in the places you genuinely serve.
I work with local businesses to find the gaps between what they offer and what their search presence communicates. The resulting plan brings profile improvements, website work and local trust signals into a sensible order.
THE DETAIL
Who this service is for
This service suits businesses serving a physical location or a genuine service area: professional practices, clinics, shops and local service providers. It can be useful when your business is established but hard to find, when competitors communicate their services more clearly, or when you cannot connect your current SEO activity with a clear plan.
A business with several locations or services usually needs a different scope from a single-location company with one core offer. I assess that difference before recommending ongoing work.
THE DETAIL
Start with demand and business fit
The first questions are commercial. Which services are important? Where can you realistically serve customers? What kinds of jobs or enquiries are worthwhile? Local keyword research then looks at how people describe those needs, rather than collecting a long list of keywords without purpose.
Competitor research helps identify relevant service coverage, useful page formats and information customers may expect to find. It provides context; copying another company’s pages or claims is not the objective.
THE DETAIL
Connect your profile with useful service pages
Your Google Business Profile and website should tell a consistent story. Profile categories, services, contact details and website links need to reflect the real business. On the website, priority pages should explain what is offered, who it is for, practical service details and how to make an enquiry.
A location page is useful when there is enough genuine local information to support it. Repeating the same text with a different city name is not a substitute for useful coverage. I prioritize a clear structure, relevant internal links and distinct information.
THE DETAIL
Improve consistency, trust and website foundations
Local work can include checking important business listings, resolving conflicting contact information, planning neutral review requests and looking for relevant local authority opportunities. The exact work follows the gaps found in the review.
Technical website issues are considered alongside content. A strong service page cannot do its job if it is blocked from indexing, linked poorly or difficult to use on mobile. Fixes are prioritized according to likely impact and the work required.
THE DETAIL
What the deliverables look like
A proposal identifies the pages, profile improvements and technical tasks included. Depending on the scope, deliverables can include a prioritized audit, a service-to-page map, rewritten or new service pages, profile corrections, business listing recommendations and a documented change log.
Page quantities, locations covered and any third-party costs are agreed before starting. This avoids treating every local business as though it needs the same checklist or publishing schedule.
THE DETAIL
Measure the right things
Google Search Console can show organic clicks, impressions and query visibility. Business Profile performance can show supported customer actions. These reports answer different questions, so I keep the sources and reporting windows clear.
Call-button clicks are not the same as answered calls, and direction requests do not confirm store visits. Where reliable enquiry or booking data is available, it adds useful business context. Where it is missing, the report should say so.
THE DETAIL
Expectations and practical limits
Searcher location and competition affect local visibility. Profile eligibility, website history and the starting condition also matter. No ethical service can promise a top position across every location or guarantee that a change will produce a specific number of customers.
My focus is an understandable plan, documented implementation and evidence that helps decide the next priority. Local SEO work is quoted according to your locations, priorities and the agreed implementation scope.
NEXT STEP
Start with the business, then choose the work.
Share your website, Google Business Profile link and service area. I will review the context and explain which problems deserve attention before recommending a scope.
